Greetings to all you out there in newspaper land! My name is Gary Collier, and I’m the pastor of the “new-kid-on-the-block” church in Lee County, Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church. We are located on White Pond Rd., between Philema Rd. and Thundering Springs Rd. CSHC was formed in 1892 and preaches the doctrine of justification and sanctification, the same doctrine that John and Charles Wesley, the founders of Methodism, preached. CSHC has churches located throughout the southeast U.S. and a 600 acre camp ground near Perry where a week-long old time camp meeting has been continually held since 1939.

I currently live in the Atlanta area and am one of the ministers of our congregation in Stone Mountain. God worked with my heart about Albany for the past year and a half, and He started working things out this summer for CSHC to start a new congregation in the Albany area. By September we were able to purchase our almost-new sanctuary and our “grand opening” weekend was on Sept. 16 and 17. Since that time we have held meetings every weekend on Sat. nights and Sun. mornings. Souls have been saved, lives have been changed, and soul by soul and family by family Albany and Lee County is being changed for God’s glory!

My family and I travel here every weekend to be in the services, and will be moving here permanently once our youngest daughter graduates high school in May. We are looking forward to living in Albany for a long time, and we are trusting God to bless our efforts and to help us affect lives in a positive way for Him.
