Christ's Sanctified Holy Church began on Feb. 14, 1892
when a man named Joseph Lynch became convinced that
people could not be saved without entire sanctification,
the indwelling of the Holy Ghost that is sought after
and received after the forgiveness of sins.
* We believe and use the King James Bible for all of
our preaching and teaching.
* We believe the power of God in a believer's heart is
stronger than any other power, so that a believer is
filled with power to live a daily life that is pleasing
to God and to man.
* We believe that "God is no respecter of persons,
but in every nation he that feareth him and worketh
righteousness is accepted with him." (Acts 10:34,
35)
* Our tradition of not asking for offerings in our
services began when our folks began to travel across the
country in the late 1800's. They
read and took to heart the passage in Matthew 10 when
Jesus was giving his disciples instructions to go and
preach, and in verse 8 he said "Freely you have
received, freely give." The
gospel should never have a monetary cost attached to it
as it is preached, although it is Biblical to give back
to God from our income and abundance.
* We believe in personal holiness. "Follow peace
with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall
see the Lord." (Hebrews 12:14)
* We believe in attending church and fellowshipping
with other believers regularly. "Not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together... but exhorting one
another..." (Hebrews 10:25)
* We believe in personal evangelism. We
encourage every person who walks in our doors to read
the Bible for themselves, and "to know what is the
breadth, and length, and depth, and height"
(Ephesians 3:18), that "ye might be filled with all
the fullness of God." (v. 19) If
a believer is on fire for God,
he or she will want to tell the world around them about
God and the joy that comes from being "chosen to
salvation through sanctification of the Spirit." (II
Thessalonians 2:13)
* We believe that Jesus was "the true Light which
lighteth every man that cometh into the world." (St.
John 1:9) There is a "true
Light", and the light of God's word isn't challenged
or threatened by false theology or beliefs.

* We believe that love is the greatest sign of whether
people are true believers and followers of God.
"By this shall all
men know that ye are my disciples, by the love that ye
have one to another." (St. John 13:35)
We promise that you will
feel that love the first time that you walk in our
sanctuary, and every time after that.
* We want you. We love
you before we meet you! We
care about your soul, your family, and your life more
than anything else.
