Paul Copeland, Bro. Allen Davidson, Sis. Mildred Davidson, Sis. LaWanna Welch, Sis. Kelli Miller, Sis. Marsha Miller and Bro. Went Miller. Bro. John closed and we closed with a beautiful prayer around our altars, as always.

On Sunday morning Bro. Bob Perry preached a powerful sermon, and he was followed by Sis. Mildred Davidson who talked with humility and passion. Sis. Joyce Perry testified and we soon went into an altar call and prayer. Jennifer Miller soon walked to the altar and started praying, and she was joined shortly afterwards by Pat Swift (Sis. Virginia (Davidson) Swift’s husband) and Marie Davidson. Wow! We had a moving altar service and the prayers of the saints going up made the hair stand on my arms, it was so strong. All 3 souls soon testified to feeling the burden of their sins removed from God.

We went and ate lunch and joined back together at 4:00. Bro. John and Sis. Janet Keldahl joined us from the Camp Ground (Thanks!) to be at the new births! Sis. Becky Collier preached and called prayer, and after several prayers all 3 souls testified and praised God for sanctifying them and filling them with the Holy Ghost. Bro. Pat said he felt “so peaceful.” Sis. Jennifer said that she realized how much she loved everybody, and she requested we sing “I Shall Not Be Moved”, which was a fitting final song to a long but wonderful day.

Sis Janet opened the meeting before Bro. Burnice brought the Word for us.  He was long overdue as he told me before church that this was the first time he'd been back to Albany in 40 years!  Testimonies were given by Bro. Bobby Reese, Jr., Bro. Brian Collier, Bro. Allen Davidson (who is celebrating his 75th birthday this week!), Sis. Faye Tarr Rogers, Sis. Dollie Geary, Bro. Bob Reese, Sr., and Sis. Sue Rogers.  Sis. Patricia Rodney gave an impassioned altar call that brought tears to all that listened.  At one point, we were singing "He walks with me and talks with me, and tell me I am his own!" and the power of God could truly be felt!  Conviction was all over the building by the end of meeting and you could see the struggle that many were having over their souls.

Sunday morning, we had over 38 in attendance and heard testimonies from Mindy Reese, Robbie Reese, Diane Lamberson, Jamie Fulford, Bobby Reese, Jr., and Barbara Rogers.  Those that missed Sis. Marsha Reese's Bible Study this past Wednesday night were able to hear her heart-felt sermon this morning on the importance of serving God NOW and raising your children in the ways of God.

During altar call, our newly sanctified Bro. Pat Swift and his wife Virginia led their daughter, Tania Price, to the altar and we prayed with her to receive the blessing of forgiveness.  She came through victoriously and immediately wanted to pray again for sanctification.  She said "This has been a long time coming!"  Sis. Tania asked for and received the blessing of the Holy Spirit as we sang "I Surrender All."  She soon testified to a "wonderful feeling of peace."  Testimonies were also given during this altar service by Sis. Pam Rodgers, Sis. Virginia Swift, Bro. Pat Swift and Sis. Jennifer Miller.  Everyone rejoiced at another soul being added to the family of God!

Bible study on Sat. night, and we continued our study in I John, chapter two. We had a lot of good lively discussion about how serving God requires that we answer to His spirit and His teachings rather than man's.

Sunday morning Bro. Bryan Call preached a good sermon for us. The rest of the meeting was good with good testimonies.

Wow, God continues to bless every service that we have in Albany! We had 45 in attendance on Saturday night. Bro. Norman Langston was with us from Columbia and he opened the meeting and "raised a little cane" during the rest of the meeting! (His term for raising his cane in the air when he feels blessed!) Bro. Steve Gray preached a beautiful sermon on trusting God for our lives instead of using our own wisdom and knowledge. We enjoyed testimonies from Sis. Gere Ann Gray, Bro. Roy Chandler, Sis. Dawn Chandler, Sis. Christine Martin, Bro. Bob Reese Sr., Bro. Paul Copeland, Bro. Allen Davidson and Sis. Mildred Davidson before the service was over. Thank you all for coming and being a part of the Albany revival with us! We were blessed to also have Bro. J.W. and Sis. Doris Dempsey, Bro. Bernice and Sis. Minnie Simons, Sis. Pam Rodgers, Bro. Willie Rodgers, Bro. Tom and Sis. Diane Lamberson, Sis. Catherine Hynum, Bro. Jim and Sis. Juanita Tate, Bro. John and Sis. Janet Keldahl, Sis. LaWanna Welch, Sis. Barbara and Sis. Kelli Miller with us as well..... (I hope I haven't left anyone out - I'm doing this from memory! Forgive me if I did.... :-)

On Sun. morning we had 38 in attendance, and we enjoyed testimonies from Sis. Diane Lamberson, Bro. Brian Collier, Bro. Tom Lamberson, Bro. Bob Reese Sr., and Sis. Jamie Fulford. When altar service was called Jamie Price, Tania Davidson Price's husband, walked down the aisle with Sis. Tania and started praying and seeking God. He was forgiven and he prayed the second time to receive the Holy Ghost and he was sanctified before he left the church sanctuary - praise God! Others in the congregation were touched by God's spirit and are praying about seeking God. We expect this revival to continue and that God will add "to the church daily such as should be saved."

On Sat. night we had 56 in attendance. Bro. Alan Hagan read from Acts, chapter 2 and opened the meeting with passion! Sis. Becky Collier read about Martha and Mary and talked about choosing that good part. She was followed by Bro. Charlie Smith who preached and called altar call for us. We enjoyed a fish fry before the service (thanks to Franklin Davidson, Bro. Johnny Mills and others) and had good fellowship together. Thanks to Bro. John and Sis. Janet Keldahl, Sis. Mildred Cox, Bro. Tom Lamberson, Sis. Pam Rodgers, Bro. Willie Rodgers, Bro. Gil Bates, Bro. Paul Copeland, Sis. LaWanna Welch, Bro. Albert and Sis. Carolyn Williams who all came from our Camp Ground to be with us and support our meeting!

On Sun. morning there was a special feeling in the air as we had folks come in for the very first time, along with others who were there for the first time in months. We had 68 in attendance (!!!), and the meeting was great. Bro. Eddie Bedwell and Sis. Mindy Reese preached for us and gave their personal testimonies. Sis. Mandy Smith opened the meeting and Sis. Barbara Bedwell and Sis. Tess Hagan testified before Bro. Ty Smith closed and gave the altar call. Most every person yesterday gave their personal testimony about how God saved them, and there were tears and there was conviction among our congregation. I counted a minimum of 10 unsanctified people in the congregation - praise God for the opportunity to love them and bring the gospel to them!
